For Christmas my parents gave me a six month subscription to Birchbox and this last week I received the last of my subscription. May’s Birchbox was one of my favorites and had some really unique goodies that I’ve never heard of before!
My Birbox included samples of: Amika hair mask, Coola facial sunscreen, Marvis toothpaste, Sumita eyeliner, and Runa tea.
The Amika hair mask is packed with omega acids and vitamin C to help boost the shine of hair and repair split ends, sounds like just what I need for summer! The Coola mineral SPF for your face is made with antiaging ingredients like evening primrose extract and borage seed oil, how refreshing! The Marvis mint toothpaste comes from Italy and has an invigorating peppermint flavor plus I love the old-timey packaging! The Sumitra eyeliner is inspired by traditional Indian formulas and the velvety liner glides on easily, I’ve been looking for a good eyeliner that will last throughout the day and I’m hoping this eyeliner will end that search!
The Runa tea is what I was most excited to try from this month’s Birchbox! The sample flavors I received were: cinnamon-lemongrass, mint, traditional, and ginger-citrus. The Runa tea has more antioxidants than green tea and is rich in caffeine and made from Amazonian Guayusa leaves. How exotic does that sound!? I have only tried the Ginger Citrus one so far and it was really good and definitely put a little pep in my step!
I’ve really enjoyed my Birchbox subscription, it created a moment of excitement every time the mailman delivered the little pink box! I will probably reenroll in the future but for now I’ve got to use up all these shampoo samples I’ve accumulated 😉
Until next time,
Nat
